Daniela, born in Hanover Germany, grew up in studios filled with clay dust, wool fibers, and the hum of handmade tools. Early mentors opened the door to an interdisciplinary world, and she stepped through it fully, shaping a practice that moves fluidly between ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, photography, and jewelry. Her work carries the quiet precision of craft and the warmth of the hands that taught her.

Mark’s path began in the kitchens of New England, where the rhythm of cooking shaped his sense of color, timing, and composition. His career carried him across the United States and far beyond, to the Virgin Islands, Belize, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Sweden, and Tunisia. On Hydra, a friendship with Brice Marden nudged him toward abstraction, where he found a new language in color fields and the meditative discipline of painting.
